Why I use Turbo Tax

I have used Turbo Tax for a number of years and find it to be very easy to use since it has instructions and explanations that an average person can understand. I like the fact that it will tell me if I have missed something and it does all the calculations. I will continue to use it since it "remembers" my information from the previous year and is an excellent product that is reasonably priced.
What's great about it: Easy to understand, brings up topics I probably would not have thought about.

Easy and Fast

Great product. I'm never doing taxes manually again. Only negative is that the state return cost almost as much as federal and yet the incremental time savings is negligible. Of course, Intuit has to spread the software development costs for each of their state versions over far fewer people, so I guess it's understandable.
What's great about it: Let's you easily bypass items that don't apply.
What's not so great: Cost of state version

Disappointed I could not eFile

I have used TurboTax online for years. I downloaded the software this year because the pricing was cheaper (because I had to file multiple state returns). I was very disappointed at the end when I could not efile any of my returns because of the number of state returns. I couldn't even efile my Federal return. Maybe that is an IRS restriction, but I was annoyed. This is 2013. I haven't filed a paper return for ages. That problem needs to be fixed.

Made it so very easy

Turbo tax is by far the easiest method to use for dealing with your taxes. By saving the information each year the auto uploads of your previous years information make doing each new year a breeze. Explanations of areas that are more complex are easy to understand and having examples to look at make the explanations even easier. It give me comfort to know that I am using "assistance" that is knowledgeable and professional when I have questions.
What's great about it: Ease of use and explanations
What's not so great: You actually have to purchase the software

I have used Turbo Tax for approximately 8 years and find it very user friendly. Turbo tax takes you through step by step and is available for assistance if needed.
