Best Software Just Keeps Getting Better

TurboTax continues to be the the gold standard for pc software. Not only has it become "intuitive" to build basic user records from previous tax year submissions, and documents filed electronically by employers, but the wizard makes life simpler for those like myself that have used the software for over ten years. Also, it's internal audit features have been accurate without a fault. Great software, and excellent customer service when a technical question arises, there simply is no reason to look at any other tax software program.
What's great about it: Ease of use wizard; terminology to help you understand

TurboTax software is very easy to use. It walks you through each area of your tax return slowly and also allows you to come back and revisit any portion later on. This way you can get started anytime and can decide to complete it whenever you are ready. Tremendously useful feature,

Easy repeat filer

It would be helpful and faster if more/all financial data could be transferred and entered electronically vice manually.
Still a useful tool that I will continue to use. We came to TurboTax from Parsons and will remain as long filing is as easy as current.
What's great about it: External inputs
What's not so great: Not all inputs could be transferred

I have used turbo tax for about 10 years and love it. It is helpful to have all my information transferred from my previous return. Turbo tax guides you all the way and asks things you would never think of. My whole family uses it too, it is well worth the cost. We do not have complicated returns but it still checks everything for you that you could miss. The returns look great when printed. Why would you do it yourself when this program is available.
What's great about it: the ease at how they help us through it
What's not so great: sometimes get confused when I have saved return and when exiting it always ask to save and that makes me nervous

Fast and Easy!

TurboTax doesn't just simplify the process of filing your taxes, it helps you organize your paperwork as it leads you through the process. Should an IRS review arise in the future, the records you have collected to answer each section--placed in separate folders (or baggies, envelopes, or, God forbid, shoeboxes)--can make it easy to document your income and withholdings, deductions, exemptions, charitable giving, travel expenses, etc.
TurboTax has made me a better record-keeper and a more confident taxpayer.

What's great about it: It remembered last year's investments, bank accounts, and charities, so, in most cases, I only had to change the amount.
What's not so great: There are no cons!

I have always done my own taxes,and i have always worried if i got it right. By using turbo tax i still do my own taxes but i get the peace of mind knowing that i didnt make an error in either my math or the law.
