Good tool

I have been using if for many years, but have lately been having doubts about paying the expense compared to other similar and cheaper products on the market.
What's great about it: Walk through is very basic, but good explanations if confused
What's not so great: Cost. It seems to be overpriced.

I can count on Turbo Tax to guide me through all the different forms with the greatest of ease! I always feel comfortable using Turbo Tax, very user friendly!

First Time Success

I used TurboTax for the first time this year. My taxes this year were a little daunting due to some inheritance, retirement and roll-over activity, but I thought I could do it with the help of TurboTax. I was actually surprised and relieved to find that it was very straightforward and quite easy. I followed each step, answered the questions, uploaded information directly from my investment company, and finished by e-filing. TurboTax was great and I will definitely use it again next year.
What's great about it: Extremely helpful, easy to follow, huge time-saver

Turbosized My Refund!

TurboTax takes you step by step through all your personal information and can load it automatically if you used it the previous year. It covers every income and deduction possibility. If you have questions about whether or not you qualify for a deduction, it offers help to define the requirements and asks you questions to determine if you do qualify for the deductions. The program also reviews your entire return to check it for errors and to determine if you claimed all the deductions to which you are entitled.
What's great about it: Love Deduction Maximizer and ItsDeductible. Before TurboTax, I underestimated my charitable deductions.
What's not so great: I haven't found any cons!

I've been using TurboTax for many years now. I've used other tax programs and find TurboTax to be the best -- by far. It's so user friendly, the explanations are easy to understand, and it is thorough. My return is not simple and I finished my federal and state in one evening. I'd recommend it for everyone.
What's great about it: Fast, Easy, Explanations in plain English!
What's not so great: No cons -- liked everything.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Continue to Use...year after year

I have been using TurboTax for over 10 years now. It is easy to use, and easy to find the answers you need to complete your tax returns. I will continue to utilize it in future years.
What's great about it: Turbotax is ideal for both the beginner and the experienced tax preparer
What's not so great: Every year it gets easier to use

Made taxes easier

Overall, turbo Tax is user friendly and easy to use. It leads you through your returns with only some slightly confusing places, (but they do have explanations). The charity donations listing for each item of your donation was so time consuming I gave it up as not being worth my time to list out each item of clothing and household items I donated. I've used Turbo Tax since 2009 and will probably continue to use it since we do a short form and it's easier and less expensive than having someone do them for me.
What's great about it: user friendly
What's not so great: too complicated with charity donations
