Too Easy

This is the 6th year I have used TurboTax. It really does make it easier for me to complete my tax return. I had the first 2 years of Turbo tax check by a private accountant just to be sure of the results and TurboTax actually found more in my behalf than the accountant. TurboTax tutorial is easy and I love the way it imports previous years information. I dabble in stocks and TurboTax can import all the information needed from stockbrokers to complete my forms. The cost is not bad compared to the ease of completing my tax return. Its also nice to know they guarantee the results and are willing to back you up in the event of audit. Thanks
What's great about it: Nice tutorial, simple to complete just answering the questions. Easy to import all information needed to file.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Makes a horrible process workable

As always, TurboTax makes the horrible process of filing taxes workable. I love it!
What's great about it: None of the fees per form like the pros

Turbo Tax is great! It's so easy and quick to file your taxes and understand all your options. I highly recommend it to anyone, it's very user friendly!

Quick and easy, even for itemizers

I've been a TurboTax user for years and I don't think I could file my taxes with it. It's easy to use; it steps you through line by line and comes up with deductions I never would have thought of. Then it checks you return for errors and audit flags, then sends it off the Fed without a hassle.
What's great about it: easy to use and finds deductions for you
What's not so great: nothing I didn't like

i continue to use Turbo tax over the years. it saved me time and cost of a tax consultant when I had to complete taxes for my father in another state and after he passed away. it also helped define my childs taxes when he had minimum salary to report. It lets me know up front the total receipts i need to have in order to deduct medical, etc. without going through all the paperwork and then fall short of that total.
What's great about it: walks through each area to remind you what you are forgetting
