very easy to understand and use

Turbo Tax is VERY user friendly and knows all the ins and outs. It's also great to get the updates and the fast refunds!
What's great about it: simple questions, doesn't take long to complete

Quick and Easy

TurboTax is a lot easier to use than HRB. Overall it was simpler to use. It is very thorough and covered everything for me.
The error checking was not as clear.
It would be better if some of the screens were a little bigger.

What's great about it: Historical line items to compare
What's not so great: no link that I could locate for It's deductible

Simple taxes made easy

I actually liked using Turbotax better than H&R Block At Home. I have always used H&R Block to e-file my taxes and thought I would try turbotax this time. I was pleasantly surprised. I would definitely recommend turbotax.

What's not so great: Extra cost for state e-file

Tax the EASY Way

My husband handled the taxes, either through a tax company or himself, until in 2002 he had a stroke. What a nightmare I had trying to find a reputable accoutant or company to take over. Finally after we had tax penalties for some insurance mishaps, I followed my financial advisors endorsement for TurboTax. It works! I know what documents and data to collect for my filing needs, and the deduction assistance is clear and easy to compute. With e-filing, I get the federal and state forms sent off together with no postal hassle. Direct deposit refunds mean I don't have to worry about late check arrivals. Best thing is, I have never had to use any filing extensions, even though they are conveniently provided. No more tax nightmares with TurboTax.
What's great about it: Following the items featured without having to juggle the numbers is not only easy to follow, but dependable.
