Online failed but download saved the day

Once I had the downloaded software, it was smooth sailing as usual. I've always used TurboTax and will continue to do so but may not bother trying online again. While logged in, I was not able to locate any system requirements to determine if it was MAC related. I had to do the live chat (after I did some digging around to find it - should be easier to find if you want to be rated for customer service). The person I chatted with was able to quickly address my concerns and got me the download so I could proceed.
What's great about it: I liked the idea of not having the software on my computer, that it was secure and would be saved.
What's not so great: Online didn't work. May have been related to me using a MAC. So had to download the software which I was hoping to avoid

Fast and Easy

I have been using TurboTax for several years now. Why pay someone a hundred of more dollars to do your taxes when you can do it yourself.
What's great about it: takes all the guess work out of taxes
What's not so great: non that I know of

turbotax gets it done

if you have a home and kids...the deluxe package will get your taxes done fast and easy....been using turbotax since 1996...works well...imports data from previous years...i get my taxes done in 1/2 hour!! every year!

turbo tax fan forever!!!

I have filed taxes for 32 years, two years ago, my mother told me about TurboTax, I could have cried when I realized how much time, heartache, and money I realized that I have spent trying to file taxes through personal agencies over these long years. If I had known how so very simple it was to go through TurboTax, I would have bought this product the very minute it came available!!! Now, when I am asked what I would like for Christmas.....I ask for the state and federal version of TurboTax!!!
I will never "hire" anyone to file my taxes again. Just try it once...you will never have to struggle with your taxes again!!

What's great about it: walks me through every single step, talks to me like I am a two year old...this is exactly what i needed!!!

Bought for the first time, very easy to use. It's step by step instructions, constant reminders and detailed guidelines can help ANYONE do their own taxes. Highly recommend to anyone
What's great about it: Very easy, step by step make it nearly fool proof
What's not so great: none that i can think of
Pros: I had a baby, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Almost awesome

I like this product. I've used it for three years now and I haven't been disappointed. My only problem is that I don't know EXACTLY what qualifies as a deduction (especially in the education portion) even after I looked for online help through Turbo Tax. Overall, it's not perfect, but it is a good product.
What's great about it: Easy to use, very convenient for the customer
What's not so great: Some sections aren't clear despite packaging saying otherwise. What EXACTLY can be claimed as a deduction should stated
