You continue to rock!

Your software continues to make my day at tax time. I no longer get the horrible head aches I got when I had to read pages and pages of instructions and fill out the forms by hand and have to check and recheck to make sure I did not make any mistakes.
What's great about it: Ease and speed of use
What's not so great: Could not think of any

I have been using Turbo Tax for 3 years. It is very easy to use and fast to file my income tax returns. I strongly recommended Turbo to anyone.

Painful for newly married

As a newly wed- Turbo tax did a poor job accounting for the husband living in school district (a), the wife living in school district (b) before marriage-- and then they take up residency in school district (c) after they wed. I spent at least 4 hours trying to get this straight using the "form" because the "step by step" didn't compensate for income adjustments.
What's great about it: Federal return is pretty easy
What's not so great: Tough to handle state school districts

Consistently good product, multiple years

I've been using tax preparation software for almost two decades. I've tried quite a few and since I started using TurboTax, I have stuck with it. I know a good product when I find it. While my taxes have gotten consistently more complex, rising with the general level of complexity of my life, TurboTax has rarely disappointed me and continues to meet my needs. I don't ever want to have to go back to doing them by hand.
What's great about it: walk-through, forms included, explanations
What's not so great: not always easy to go back and change things, few explanations on NJ tax returns

Nice and Easy

I have been using Turbo Tax for about 10 years now and it seems to get better and better each year.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and fast.
What's not so great: Have to pay to file the state, should be included in the purchase like the federal is.

Good, but what could be done more.

What's great about it: I used this software to submit my tax return. I used before for many years HR block.
What's not so great: There are couple of glitches in the SW, which I found during the preparation.

Love the audit defender option! Great piece of mind. Love the carry-over from year to year; makes life easier. I've used Turbo Tax for years and will continue to do so.
What's great about it: Guided, easy to navigate, asks questions and gives good explanations

quick complete tax program

The program was fast and easy to complete, but lacked control to visualize the forms and explanation of the what exactly the information need was, but if you had everything organized and have used turbo tax in the past it was quick.
What's great about it: quick to complete
What's not so great: miss being able to see forms
