Turbotax provides a simple and thorough procedure for completing tax preparation. It gives me great peace of mind knowing I have covered all the bases in filing my tax return.
What's great about it: The windows were easy to follow and specific as to what is needed.
What's not so great: Just having to do it.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have been pleased with the layout and ease of the software. Multiple levels of expertise proves helpful as your income and life changes.
What's great about it: Consistent from year to year, easy to follow once you know the system

I love Turbo Tax, so don't take this the wrong way, but it would be nice if there was a better way to monitor how the "interview" was resulting in actual tax forms being completed as you go. The first time most users will see their actual tax forms is only one screen before actually filing the return. This can be frustrating as seconds before you file you may need to backtrack to fix a form so it reads the way you want.
What's great about it: Easy to use
What's not so great: Not easy to manipulate when information does not fit neatly within predefined "interview"

Smooth sailing!

Everything about this product was easy. The install was smooth and the updates was quick and efficient. The step by step method was time saving and the import feature saved me a lot of time at times during the process. The free Federal E-file works great and received my confirmation soon after transmitting it. The different save features and print options made saving and printing what I wanted was very convenient. Over all a great experience for doing my own taxes. Will recommend to all my friends.
What's great about it: Easy to follow step by step instructions
What's not so great: really didnt see any

Love the ease of use and step by step process, but would like to see some clarification for some confusing IRS requirements and terms...is great and easy for use by I am sure the vast majority of Tax filers- love the links to all states available as well-

What's not so great: sometimes need more detailed explanations in simple terms

Easiest Tax Returns Ever!

I've used TurboTax for years. For the last five years, I've used my car in my employment. Hard to figure out how to calculate when there are two cars were used in a current year. Overall, though, I can't imagine spending hundreds of dollars on an accountant when this software is very well designed, user friendly, and has all the bells and whistles I could ask for. I really like this program!
What's great about it: Prompts for potential deductions, transfers data from previous year to cut down on time, offers suport for any questions
What's not so great: Needs to tweak the mileage for cars used for business when a new car is purchased. Very confusing and frustrating.
