TurboTax 2012 experience

Once again, Intuit has made tax filing somewhat less painful because of how easy TurboTax is to use. Every section checks for things you may not realize affect your tax return. Data Entry is easy, and filling is amazingly simple.
What's great about it: All forms ready and explained, easy entry of data
What's not so great: None really

As always Turbo tax makes it easy I have been using this product for a long time.
What's great about it: All on the computer.. have been usingTurbo tax for the last 25 years
What's not so great: Cost of TurboTax varies depending in where you buy it would be good to have a guaranteed on line price

Fast & Easy

Have used Turbo Tax since it first came out. Makes my tax time faster, easier and less confusing. Walks me through step-by-step. I wouldn't want to do them any other way!
What's great about it: Always takes the stress out of completing taxes- even when they're complicated

Overall we love Turbo Tax. Has been a life safer many times through the years when it comes to taxes.
What's great about it: TT does the calculating for me.
What's not so great: A few years back it was easier to go back and look at items to make changes if necessary.

Love Turbo Tax!

I've used Turbo Tax for many years now. I never dreamed I would be able to do my own taxes, but with Turbo Tax, I can!
What's great about it: Steps you through all areas - we moved last year and it stepped me through the process of entering the information.
What's not so great: Some areas could have been more detailed on what the income/deduction meant - in layman's terms.

Turbo tax takes you through step by step in seamless fashion. However it can be a bit annoying to return to and entry screen prior to going into the next section. It is especially annoying when you want to go back to edit or change one entry and the step by step fashion has to be repeated all over again, thank goodness it is easy to go into forms mode.
For detail entries where the user defines the item or in tables of detailed break-down entries, TurboTax remembers entries from the previous year, which is a good memory jogger, but deleting uneeded entries is not straight-forward and these items often come back to haunt you during the error check. Luckily I figured out how to do it.

The Only Way to Go!!

We have used TurboTax for many years to prepare and file our taxes. I used to get nervous when filing, for fear I had over looked something. No one wants to be audited!!! The step-by-step guidance makes it easy to get and claim your allowable credits. I love that the information is imported from the prior year.

What's great about it: Easy to use.
What's not so great: State e-file fee should be included in purchase price.
