TURBO FANTASTIC

I was very happy with the results on turbo tax. It makes it so easy and gets your taxes done fast. It's also not too expensive. I'm very pleased with how simple the program is and I will continue to use turbo tax. I have also recommended turbo tax to many people.
What's great about it: HOW EASY IT WAS

Liberty Bank, 360 Bank, Discover Bank not available for download. TurboTax not keeping upto date with BANKS. K1 forms hard to follow. DON'T LIKE THE 1ST STEP WHERE TURBOTAX KEEPS ASKING FOR PERSONAL INFO FOR TAX FORM UPDATES.
What's great about it: somewhat easy to follow
What's not so great: k1 info took patience, could'nt download certain bank info.

I have used TurboTax for many years. Each year the explanations and help get better. I always dread doing my taxes, but TurboTax takes away the pain!!

TurboTax user (consecutive) since 1991

Turbo Tax (TT) is THE program we have used exclusively since 1991 - we've not explored other programs as TT has been very workable & flexible with our varying tax circumstances. As one becomes a "seasoned" TT user, it becomes easier and more intuitive. The navigator becomes a bit repetitive for the regular user, BUT it does usefully remind one to evaluate seemingly simple items that can be easily overlooked. We gross 140K and feel TT is the best investment we make in tax preparation/planing.
What's great about it: Easy to navigate/my background is fair in tax law
What's not so great: few drawbacks/the navigator is a bit basis, but occassionally catches overlooked items

TurboTax Gets Better Every Year

I've been using TurboTax since 1989, I've been transferred from WV to CA to GA, to KY and worked in OH and OK. I had another provider do my first multi-state return and they really botched it badly. I've done my own taxes via TurboTax ever since and there has never been a glitch or an audit. Who could ask for anything better? Thanks for taking the hassle out of tax return preparation.
What's great about it: More downloads to reduce potential keying errors. Program gets more user friendly every year.
What's not so great: None that I ran across.

2012 Turbo Tax Review

Overall, Turbo tax is a great product. Interaction is great. I feel confident that things were placed on the correct schedules, etc. One concern is that TT didn't ask me about estimated tax payments. I have done taxes long enough so I knew that I needed to add them but to someone starting out, it could be a problem. Also, didn't like that the operating system requirements had changed with little or no advance warning. I had to spend 2 weeks ordering new software for my Mac. Please don't change this again. I really like the fact that I have many years of return on TT and like that the info is downloaded from year to year. If you keep doing this I will have no option except to change to another tax program or have them done by a professional.
What's great about it: Interaction was great!
What's not so great: Operating System Requirement for Mac has changed!!
