TurboTax--Great

I was reallly dreading tax time this year. Major surgery and a long recovery resulted in disorganized files, receipts and bills.
Fortunately TurboTax relieved my anxiety and gave me the boost I needed to "get it done." Thank You TurboTax.

What's great about it: Easy to follow. Very helpful.

Love using Turbotax

I've been using Turbotax for the past five years or so and absolutely love it! It's so easy to use and I've never had any problems with my tax returns.

With foreign investments, this took all day

Downloads were slow (painfully slow). I couldn't download my financial institution data and had to enter all my investments manually
What's great about it: My alternative would pay big $ to have this done

A Real Software Workhorse

A good product for a very complex task. I liked the recommendations at various points of completion in order to get the best deductions. I also liked the option to explore the alternatives even when they're not recommended. Questions posed are clear and concise. Computational results appear quickly.
What's great about it: Selects and fills out the appropriate supplementary worksheets
What's not so great: Q&A Process Seems to get longer every year

See Con above...seem like some of the Foreign Tax Credit and Non- Taxable Interest info could be completed automatically from the broker's imported info
