Excellent Software!

This is the 4th year I've used TurboTax, and it is, once again, a breeze. I feel confident that i have filed correctly for both Fed and State. Buying the Audit Insurance is worth the few bucks.
What's great about it: Ease of Use, Covers All the Bases Step-by-Step
What's not so great: Sometimes Gets Hung Up For about a Minute

If you have never done your taxes before, turbo tax is the best way to go. I guarantee you after you finish you will feel confident that you made the right decision.
What's great about it: Best way to go - take you step by step to make sure you don't miss any deductions

H&R Block was Delayed in NY

The software worked great. It was clear and easy to understand.
What's great about it: All Forms and calculation were available.
What's not so great: Wasn't able to transfer my 2011 H&R Block File

the interview said kansas would be efiled free and that was not true. Printing and efiling was a problem.
What's great about it: Easy to use prepping return
What's not so great: very difficult filing and printing, and was charged to efile Ks after it was stated it would be efiled free in the inter

THERE WAS AN ERROR SECTION THAT WOULD NOT LET ME FINISH UP AND EFILE. UNDER CA FORM 3540 CODE 189. EVENTTUALLY WENT BACK AND CLEARED THES SECTIONS AND I BELIEVE I NOW FILED BUT HIS SHOULD HAVE BEEN EASIER TO COMPLETE W/O THIS SECTION POPPING UP AND MY BACK TRACKING. I'VE USED TURBOTAX X 15 YRS BUT NOW MAY RECONSIDER IN FUTURE ALTHO I LOVE THE TURBOTAX GENERALLY AND RECOMMEND IT TO ALL.

Shakes up the Filing World

The program will guide you through all the aspects of incomes, deductions, and refunds/payments as well as e-filing. Great tool this Turbo Tax.
What's great about it: The guidance tool is superb.
What's not so great: Didn't care for the enclosed ads.
