Successful Tax Filing!

I have used TurboTax every year to file my taxes. Although, I have had to pay taxes a few times, for the most part, TurboTax has gotten me my full tax refund. Thank you TurboTax!

2012 Tax Return

I have actually been using another tax prep for the last 6 years, but was not confident in my claim this year so I decided to try TT. I did like the ease of this program, most questions were very easy to understand and there were lots of info when I did have questions. I liked the Q&A part of the program and I used it a few time to clear up a few things and to make me feel more confident in what I was entering, I will actually be reviewing my 6 previous years to make sure they were done correctly. There was a big difference in your program and the other one I was using - obviously I felt better about TT and TT found more deductions as well. I am a small business owner, so it is very important that things are done right. One part I didn't find was where to put "Home Improvements" to receive my business deductions. The Medical part was quited confusing to me when dealing with my husbands HSA. Hopefully I got everything correct.
What's great about it: found more deductions than other tax prep.
What's not so great: Medical part was confusing (HSA, HDHP)

What's great about it: Step by Step process not to miss anything.
What's not so great: Did have a state sales tax look-up tool.

TurboTax tracks info year to year and suppies data to speed the entry process. Viewing prior year data helps to avoid forgetting a deduction or an expense.
What's great about it: TurboTax is easy to use and intuitive.

Easy and Helpful

turbo tax allows me to file my taxes at my own pace, and i like doing it myself rather than turning it in to a tax man and having them charge me up in the yin yang. i like that it saves your spot when you have to stop, and re opens where you left off. i like that it's just so simple and easy to use.
What's great about it: It's sooo quick and easy to do your own taxes. i love it!
What's not so great: i have no cons

Turbo Tax takes you where you want to go in record time.
If you miss any entries, they'll pop up in the error review and you can either fix the actual tax forms or return to EasyStep to find the location to fix it there.

It's amazingly easy to finish your taxes, e-file and then print for your records (or just store on computer or as pdf)!
What's great about it: Detailed directions to GET IT DONE!!
What's not so great: NOT TOO MUCH AT ALL!!

Fool proof tax preparation experience as usual!! But when trying to enter a situation not considered in the step by step questionnaire I had some trouble getting to the right form.
Turbo Tax always saves me from a lot of grief on a process that I never look forward to.
