Always happy to use turbo-tax it is great !!!!!!!!

I like using turbo-tax, but when filing multiple state returns, it was verry confusing if I was imputting the ressissary information. I was prompted to answer if i had income that was taxed by multiple states and when searching for help on the topic couldn't find a clera cut answer. I don't know if it was just me but for the last two years filing this way found it to be very confusing. All in all the software is great keep up the good work.
What's great about it: Easy prompts
What's not so great: When filing multiple stases it is confusing could use more detail

That software was easy to use and saved me money versus having them professionally prepared.
I would recommend going through all the deductions before showing any taxes owed as it would reduce the overall stress of doing the taxes.
What's great about it: Walkthroughs made it very easy
What's not so great: Large taxes owed number showed up early
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Super easy to use. It only took me a couple of hours to finish the tax return. Love the ease towards the end, for filing and getting refund. I can also feel secure and safe using the TURBO TAX since it has been a proven product for years now.
What's great about it: Very easy, simple way to do taxes.
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've been able to reduce the hours spent entering my tax return information each year. Keep up the good work, this is a terrific product. Thank you.
What's great about it: Turbotax 2012 shows that you are continally updating the product and making it more efficient. Thank you.
What's not so great: The con remains that the individual states are charging to process the return in addition to the cost of the product.

The cost associated with extra state purchases is much higher than it should be.
The cost to efile a state form is also much higher than it should be. States shoulds be asked to subsiize the cost since an efile saves the states money on processing costs.
Please fix the issue mentioned in the cons section where TurboTax neglects to pass direct deposit info to the print by mail state copies. The info should be available for review in the personal info section and used appropriately by TurboTax.

What's not so great: TurboTax remembers your direct deposit info for electronic filing but neglects to provide it for print by mail copies.

easy to use

As always, Turbotax is very user friendly. For a freelancer, like myself, it's not always easy to figure out business expenses, but overall, the program took me where I needed to go. I'm not fond of having to pay extra to file my state return. I'd prefer this be an upfront cost.
What's great about it: turbotax leads you clearly through the process
What's not so great: the business deductions section is long and a bit complicated

Right On! Even though I owe!

I used TT as I have done for years. This year we came up real short and owed a hefty amount. I took my forms and results to a CPA who looked over it and told me everything was right. He couldn't save me any more money than TT. I guess I can't ask more than that!
What's great about it: Super accurate. Easy Process.
What's not so great: I owe the government money!
