Couldn't be easier

I attempted to use the on-line version of TurboTax but it is not as user friendly and costs more in the end. I have purchased the software for several years now and there is just no simplier way to complete taxes. One of my favorite features us the transfering of information from previous year's returns. That is such a time saving gift. In addition, any first timer to tax preparation would feel comfortable with this software as it literally walks you through the process.
What's great about it: Transfer of previous year's information
What's not so great: On-line was not user friendly

The great idea of getting your Taxes done no longer is dread and dispair. The quick help launch and easy questions makes completing in one sittting and done .
The access of prior years returns and easy checks for what was done then and doing now helps with the process and knowing where you are from one year to the next.
It helps with your refund and deposit with a click.
Time is to improtant to waste trying to figure out forms and instructions. Everything is explained in a 1-2-3 step and then reviewed to make sure all is done right . Print and save and then auto send and then wait for the refund and all done .

It's so Easy

I have been using TurboTax since 1988 and it has always proved to be the best tax program available. Originally used it because I had foreign earned income and TurboTax was the ony one that had that option available. Now, they are still the best and with e-file it is even easier and faster. Now I do each of my family members as well and everyone in the family is happy.
What's great about it: TurboTax is fast, efficient, and ease of use is best
What's not so great: Haven't found it yet.

Great product

Other products that I have tried do not have the ability to download the 1099INT, DIV, and B forms from investments. For me, this is about 6 hours of additional typing, compiling and transfering of data, along with the possibility of errors to enter the required data.
What's great about it: Downloaded all of my investment information, very little typing required.
What's not so great: My banking institutions are not part of their partners

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years successfully. Last year my sister suggested I try her tax preparer, because Turbo Tax probably missed potential credits. I ended up paying hundreds more than I needed to last year. The preparer did her best, and I would absolutely recommend her to someone w/complicated filings; however, I came back to Turbo Tax, because it suits my tax needs perfectly. I recommend Turbo Tax on a regular basis.
What's great about it: Very simple to use!
What's not so great: Can't think of one. . .
