Would like a link to know if vehicle registration fees are deductible in my state. Had to go to a few web sites to figure out that they were not.
What's great about it: Simple easy to understand
What's not so great: Most time spent trying to figure out if my IL registration fees were deductible.

IRS rejected even though turbo tax said ready

TT should have noticed required form was missing. IRS rejected and I had to submit again.
What's great about it: easy to use
What's not so great: was missing required form, which TT overlooked!

We depend on TTx to hold our hand as we do our taxes. U.S. tax code is a convoluted and frustrating experience.
What's great about it: Walk thru instructions are good
What's not so great: Steps were confusing for this yr's mortgage point deduction

Took me less than one hour because it pulled all last years info and I can do it at my own pace in the comfort of my own home.
What's great about it: explains in simple terms what the forms are for and why you need them
What's not so great: You have to type on a computer

What's great about it: Easy Guidance, No Headaches, NO ACCOUNTING
What's not so great: We don't have Flat Tax yet!

This is the 2nd year I've used TurboTax to do my taxes. It's very easy to use and is very simple to understand.
