2012 software failed to transfer

I prepare two returns unsing this software (mine and family members). The 2012 version failed to transfer information from both 2011 returns. This is the first time in 5 years this has happened. It creates more work for me and may cause me to not buy again if it continues.

Comforting feeling to know all is done well

We have used Turbo Tax for years now and regret we didn't start when initially available. We always feel secure in the calculations and input of our tax returns and lose no sleep as to whether we forgot something or made an error.
What's great about it: covers everything, very explanatory

long terms user of turbo tax. I experienced more hangups this year than ever before. also had trouble understanding where to enter my 1099G from last years state return. It seemed to ask for it twice and I mistakenly entered it 2 times. Later realized my mistake and fixed the problem.
What's great about it: easy and safe
What's not so great: lack of clarity on 1099G from state

Simple and Accurate

I have used TurboTax personally for 11 years. TurboTax is a great product that is very user friendly. I would recommend TurboTax to anyone, no matter the difficulty of their individual tax returns.
What's great about it: Very easy to navigate

State tax return

Very good product, but they need to fix the problem getting to your state return from your federal return.
What's great about it: Runs your return quickly when you get it going.
What's not so great: Difficult to go from your Federal Return to starting your state, as it takes you in circles and then wants to charge you
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Only waited on hold for an hour

The program worked quite well and was easy to complete for the Federal Return. Once the state side would load it was easy to do as well. I needed information from past returns that I did not have at home with me, but all in all it was not too painful.
What's great about it: Very easy to work through the federal side
What's not so great: Would not open the state return without restarting the program, had to find out about that after waiting on hold.
Pros: I had a baby
