easy filing

I liked using turbo tax and have used it for years. It helps guide you thru each area so you don't miss anything. The only thing that was frustrating was that it told you to print in two different places. Soooo I ended up printing 35 pages twice!
What's great about it: Quick & easy to follow
What's not so great: ended up printing return twice

Latest TurboTax was easy to use, smoothly imported prior year data, all forms easy to check, comprehensive, step-by-step but easy to switch to forms, error check feature is essential.

Painless Tax Refund

I have utilized Turbo Tax for the past 5 years and I have never being so happy about my taxes until I purchase Turbo Tax. Thank you and I mean it.
What's great about it: It's easy, simple, self-explanatory, reliable, understandable, and in plain English. Thank's Turbo Tax!
What's not so great: I was too lazy to turn on the computer.

Relatively smooth sailing

This year I was procrastinating... not really. I was swamped with several deadlines and got to the taxes late. Fortunately, after I dug out all the paperwork, the return was done in two weekends (well I did not have more anyway). Thanks to Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: easy import of personal data and interview-based forms
What's not so great: software asked for a particular piece of information without pointing to a place where to enter it

The product had no way of deleting a business I no longer own, it just keeps coming up year after year.
I put zero down as the mileage that I was claiming for a small consulting job that I had done. The program still badgered me to put down transportation information which was irrelevant I claimed zero mileage.
I made an error of X1000 in transferring data from an account I had to enter by hand. The product did not flag this flagrant error.
