On the Return summary screen showing both federal and state, the total was right but the numbers above didn't mathematically add up to (subtract to) the return value. The child tax credit wasn't applied to one of the numbers correctly.

Amazing!

Overall, Turbo tax is an amazing piece of software. It is helpful whether you are a first time user or an old pro! I wouldn't do my taxes without it!

Great Tool - So easy to use

I have been using Turbo Tax for 10 years and I love it.
Saving pdf files with different levels of details is a little confusing.
Comparing the line items with last year is a great idea.
What's great about it: Very easy to use; Detailed instructions
What's not so great: Switching between sections, you still have to go through steps even though you just want to go to specific line.

Should have a question about unpaid tax for previous years.
Should provide a way to pay that tax due without amending from form from a previous years.

Monotonous

When finishing a portion of a section, I think the program should return to the list where it left off rather than at the top, and then making us scroll all the way to the bottom to go to the next section. This is especially relevant to the deduction section where there are 10 parts to go through. This is actually the only part of this program that I do not like.
What's great about it: Automatically copies previous year's information and compares
What's not so great: Too much back and forth

I have used TurboTax for as long as I can remember. I have always been satisfied with the product. Last year I had issues printing my state return to file by mail. This year, that has been corrected.
What's great about it: Easy to Use
What's not so great: None that I see this year

This was the worst year software wise that I ever filed with Turbo Tax. State problemss and a loooong phone wait for assistance.
