It is very easy to make the connections between the forms and the correct entry lines in Turbo tax due to the displays and descriptions you provide.
What's great about it: Clear and precise walk through
What's not so great: none

Another Great Experience!

I have enjoyed using Turbo Tax for over 6 years. Even with all the changes in our tax laws each year, I have total confidence that Turbo Tax has my back! When I am unsure if I can use a particular deduction, the online data base of questions and answers are a great resource to find the answers and have peace that the information is reliable.

TurboTax was great! Helped make the process much less of a headache. Unfortunately, we owed the government some of our precious moolah, but that wasn't TurboTax's fault. Oh well, there's always next year...

lighting speed refund

i have been using turbo tax for over 10 years now. I tried using in in 2000 and i enjoyed it walks you through everything. you can choose a few options of what you have and it will take you directly to the areas you need to go. Or you can choose to go through every topic and double check to make sure you didn't forget something. there is a back button and a help menu. They also have examples if you don't know if you need can claim things. i also like the easy to use sign up online so my turbo tax comes like clock work every year.
What's great about it: fast, quick easy to use
What's not so great: there's nothing i don't like

Helpful but more expensive

Overall I prefer to use turbo tax products either on-line or buying the individual program, but it's discouraging that after you purchase the turbo tax program you still have to pay to e-file your state return. In addition the cost to e-file the state return using turbo tax is double the cost of using a similar online program.
What's great about it: Easy to answer questions
What's not so great: more expensive to file state refund than on-line programs

Pretty Straightforward

TurboTax makes completing my taxes easy and straightforward. I like having my prior year's information imported into the current year. In addition, I like having the link to Itsdeductible for my tax deductions.
However, I haven't seen many changes to the TurboTax software from past years. I would like to see a few improvements. In addition, I had a problem with my "state taxes paid" information (it was duplicated, more than likely from something I added incorrectly) however I did not know how to correct it. I would like to see a place where if I need to make a correction, I can easily see what section the deduction is found in.
What's great about it: I like being able to use TurboTax year to year so my prior year's information is easily transferred.
What's not so great: I don't see too many improvements in the software.
