really a decent tax software and convenient for user. It will be better if we can get more explanation and guidance during process.
What's great about it: straightforward,convenient
What's not so great: still some words or forms need clearer explanation
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Surprise!

2012's program was very intuitive and less cumbersome than past years. I don't know what transpired from last to this year but it was like working with an entirely new tax program. And I received a refund rather than having to pay as in other years.
What's great about it: Quick and easy. Usually put off filing because of the hassles and such. 2012 was different.

Filing Status Change Residue and Banking Issues

I got divorced, so I changed my filing status to single from MFS. TurboTax couldn't detect on its own to remove the checkmark in the "I didn't live with my spouse" block. When I went to file, I didn't find a way to enter my banking info for a refund in case I wanted to file a paper return. I could enter banking info only when I went through the e-filing screens.
I've used T'Tax for years. I'll keep on using it.
What's great about it: Well executed this year, minor flaws in software
What's not so great: Two flaws: filing status data residue carried over and banking info not clearly enterable for paper filing

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and have not been audited. I feel confident that nothing is missed as they guide me through the process.
What's great about it: Felt confident that nothing was missed
What's not so great: Was surprised about the credit card fee

Tax Fun

Overall helpful and easy to use software. Somewhat expensive if you want to use for states and e-file. Better than the others I have used. If you have prior year on TurboTax, its very helpful to compare as you go.

What's great about it: Most of the easy guides are very helpful and have good links.
What's not so great: Cost for state tax e-file at the end was a shock!

So Easy!

This program couldn't be easier. I've used it for 6 years. The best part id that it uploads and compares everything from the previous year- so simple!

I used to have a tax lady prep my taxes for me and it was always a nightmare because she was never up-to-date on all the possible refunds and laws. TurboTax is like having a pro tax person there at my side as I fill out my returns. Thank the heavens for TURBOTAX!!

Better than Rocking

I've been using TurboTax for over 5 years and each year has been increasingly reassuring because the system works like a progression and has guides for new/unfamiliar issues. Updates are easy and give me comfort. Keep up the good work.
