Tax season more bearable with TurboTax!

Having used TurboTax since 1998, I can't imagine doing my taxes without it! The software makes it easy to get through most every scenario.
Where I stumble is with some of the more complicated tax issues. In my case it is related to Schedule K-1 Partnerships and associated interest payments. Had it not been for my companies tax advisor, I would not have known to input the interest payments (which are deductible and significant#. And even knowing they needed to be input - the first time for me - it was a couple of hours before I understood where it needed to be accurately input.
Should I have purchased another copy #above Deluxe) to have this addressed? Perhaps, but it was, quite literally, one line that needed to be input - and that TurboTax didn't guide me to. One that would have cost me a lot!
The difference between how the upgraded copies of TurboTax would help are very general, and offer little to help with an understanding of how much value it might offer. When the option is provided to upgrade, perhaps the software could provide an opportunity for a more in-depth understanding of how much more helpful the upgrade would be ... just a thought.

A life saver on Form 2106!!!

Started to file on another tax softwear, got frustrated went to the store and bought Turbo Tax, came home and went right through it. I loved it, will use again next year.
What's great about it: Just hit continue
What's not so great: Never figured how to jump back and forth

Turbo tax is a great way to do my taxes safely and efficiently knowing someone is reviewing them who knows the ins and outs of taxes...I do not have that skill set..Mine is in nursing...
What's great about it: The GPS walk thru
What's not so great: I got a little confused when asked about state tax when we have none

Great Program!

TurboTax is easy to use and provided a lot of direction and guidance regarding how to file distributions received from college savings accounts, where and how to input college expenses, and calculated the most beneficial credit available for higher education expenses.
What's great about it: The step-by-step process is very easy and guided me through how to obtain the best credit for paying college expenses.
What's not so great: No cons regarding this program.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

I've been using Turbo Tax for a long time. It really does make the whole process easy. They've been doing it a long time too, so I trust that the process gives correct results. I'd have to find all my records whether I use Turbo Tax or paid a CPA, and that's the hardest part of doing taxes. I recommend TT to all of my friends.
What's great about it: Walks you through every step
What's not so great: still have to find all my records ;-)
