2012 Tax Return Prep

I've used Ttax for many years, buying the Ttax disc every year except last year. I like the security of having my own disc!
What's great about it: Guided tour to avoid missed items
What's not so great: Inability to access 2011 data (filed using "free" TTax)

Since I started using Turbo Tax, my wife doesn't fear tax season any more. It was a stressful time for me in the past because I normally do all of my family and some of my friends taxes for them.
Turbo Tax just makes it easy to do your own and help others.

This is the easiest TurboTax product I've used since 2005. Easy to navigate and understand. Like the "flag" feature. Makes navigating easier by just clicking on the "flag" item.
Will continue to use this product and will recommend to my friends too.

Easy and quick too

I've used TurboTax for a number of years now and it gets easier and easier. All my info is imported and the program takes me through all the steps. There are pop-ups that provide extra info if you have questions, and well, it only took me about 3 hours to do my taxes this year...and mostly this had to do with me adding up receipts and deductions,etc. And I'm getting a nice return, thankfully. Good work, TurboTax!

i reported mileage deduction and had a car that was on lease and returned that car and got new one for the balance of the year. Pa return made me fill out the sch d which had no bearing as i leased both cars and there was no profit. i had to fake the system and put 0 in all fields.
some other items also were hard to record. when i went to the help screen, i could not find a spot to asl my actual question, just what you wanted to tell me.
also hard to save to PDF, have to figure it out on my own, not like last year.
What's great about it: makes you review over and over
What's not so great: some stuff doesnt work
