Easy to use

I have used turbo tax for many years and have never had any problems with it. This year wasn't the programs fault that I couldn't complete and file my taxes in a fast manner. I was not happy at first when the date changed from the 10th for all the forms that I needed to the 17th for just one form and the 10 for the other form. Being able to file my taxes today the 10th of Jan 2013 has made me happy. Knowing that you get the forms as fast as possible to update the program is one of the best parts of your program. So far for as many years as I've been using turbo tax I've not had any problems and have actually gotten more deductions than the commercial offices that used to do my taxes. I have even gotten a refund when the others failing to get me all my deductions caused me to owe the IRS. Even when I owed money to the IRS my bill was lower than with other companies.
What's great about it: As always simple, concise, user friendly.
What's not so great: This year having to wait to finish due to forms having to be re-generated by government

Tubo Tax rocks! It is so fast and easy!

Turbo Tax is awesome. It took me about 30 minutes start to finish. It does every thing for you. I will never use any thing other than turbo tax to file my refund.

Good refund but what happened to the comparisons?

What's great about it: refund and process was a good as always and still love how it grabs previous year to speed up inputing information.
What's not so great: In previous editions it used to compare previous years with this year. That function was totally missing.

GREAT REFUND AND FAST

I HAVE BEEN USING THIS FOR YEARS AND HAVE EVEN TRIED OTHERS AND KEEP COMING BACK TO TURBO TAX
What's not so great: UPDATES TAKE TO LONG TO DOWNLOAD EVEN WHEN GIVEN DATES TO DO SO
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Everything fine 'til I tried to PRINT file

I am so frustrated right now. I finished my return, and all I had to do was print it to file by mail. The prompts led me to a screen that asked me what I wanted to generate (of course, I didn't want to "generate" anything. I merely wanted to print my return), but from there, I was unable to print a thing. I tried to open the file that I had supposedly "saved" as a PDF, but got a message, "unable to open." When I saved it, the file was saved as a PREVIEW. To add to my exasperation, when I re-opened Turbo Tax, I notice that my returns are considered to have been "printed for filing." Well, that is just not true. All I have been able to print is something that has a "DO N OT FILE. FORM NOT COMPLETE" watermark. I tried the "help" and "support" tabs, to no avail. I have not had this issue in the past, and have used Turbo Tax for years now.
What's great about it: easy to follow until I got to the print part
What's not so great: something different this year about printing
