Getting Better

I've used turbotax for years and it has gotten better - found it easier this year than last - caught tuition credit and easily got thru the 8615 forms which usually drive me crazy - all in all, I spent almost half the time I expected to take filling out 4 federal and 1 state.
What's great about it: Does A Good Job of leading thru process
What's not so great: Printing not clear cut

Easy Tax Returns

I've been an avid turbotax user for years. When my taxes got a bit more complicated, I would do them on turbotax and then pay to have then reviewed by my tax accountant. This was not necessary after all and I saved myself a bunch - thanks to TurboTax.

Turbo tax walks me thru all the stages and makes fililng considerfably easy. I like the fact that they can import all information from previous years and you can follow along with your printed returns.

Very good for normal returns

I had a large sweepstakes win at the end of the year, but TurboTax basically forced me to jump through hoops to eliminate its perceived need to pay an underpayment fee on my taxes even though I made an estimated tax payment during the year to cover the windfall and overall I had a tax refund.
What's great about it: Fast entry of data, good automated file upload
What's not so great: Tricky to manage non-standard tax scenarios

Improved!

Using the Turbo Tax this year, we experienced a much improved product which covered all our questions. The Help area was excellent.
What's great about it: Liked the easy to use help section. Clarified a lot of points of need.

User-Friendly Tax Software

I have been using TurboTax for the last four or five years, and it makes filing much easier. There are items that I did not even know I might need to address until TurboTax prompted me with the right questions. I also like how at any point in time you can go back to previous pages to edit information.
What's great about it: I really like how thorough the whole process is to file tax returns using TurboTax.
What's not so great: At this time, I cannot think of any cons.
