Taxes Made Easy

Everything went well excet for the downloading of the state tax forms.I couldn't quite get the time between the down load and when I could start to do my state taxes, even though the information was imported from my federal tax forms I had nothing telling me to start my state taxes. Maybe I just missed the notice saying to start it now.
What's great about it: The Importing of Information
What's not so great: Not understanding the switch to state tax forms

I would more for an accountant to use the same forms turbo tax uses so why not do it myself. I checked one year after a CPA did our taxes and everything was the same as the turbo tax forms so I decided to do taxes myself. H&R Block had done them previously and every year something was messed up from the prior year. The icing on the cake was when the H&R preparer neglected to factor in capital loss and we were no longer eligible for the refund we should have gotten. Needless to say the preparer was very embarrassed as were the H&R management and are taxes were done for free, but that didn't nearly make up for the loss that occurred.
What's great about it: easy, step by step. low chance of audit

Easy and Fast

I loved using Turbo Tax and will be using it in the future. I feel like I wasted my money last year when I used H & R Block because they did not seem like they knew what they were doing and I was helping them use their own system. This year, I decided to try TurboTax for the first time and am VERY happy. It was easy and accurate. Thank you!

Gets better every year

I've been using TurboTax since 1998 and it gets smoother every year, even though my personal circumstance change from year to year.
If you assemble all of your paperwork beforehand, the process can be very quick, especially if one has used TT in the previous year. Minor niggles with Capital loss carryover and HSA reporting is all. Can't complain. The price is right!

What's great about it: Good hints and prompts for slightly unusual situations
What's not so great: Capital Loss carryover (state) still a little tricky
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Filing w/Ease

The app enabled me to upload last years file from the form since this was the first time I used the app from my computer. so I did not have to enter all of my information in from scratch. That was worth it!
If everything imports next year I will continue to be a Turbo Tax user for life. Way tooo go.

Easy as 123!!!

loved the software. I have previously used other e-filing software and didn't have the ease of this software. Great experience love the updates when loading to keep up with tax changes and also since I usually have to pay the option to take out before the 4/15 due date on a certain date of my choice. Wonderful!!!!
