Turbo tax has been the software I have used for the past several years because of its ease of use and the ability to download the previous years info into the current year
What's great about it: Easy to use

Was a bit intimadated at the beginning--Once the turbo tax transfered all of my data from last years return. I just settled back and had Turbo Tax walk me thru to the end. The help at each phase was more than adequate. Will use Turbo Tax in the future without hestition!!!!
What's great about it: Explained and walked me thru the whole system!!!!!!!!!!

Turbo Tax is complete and thorough. I haven't used it before, but it was the best decision I ever made. They highlighted exactly what I needed to do to file. Thank you!
What's great about it: The step by step process is super easy and effective!
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I've been using TurboTax for years and love the federal return, it is easy to do with their step by step instructions. The State Returns are not as good, but they are getting better.
What's great about it: Federal return is made easy with step by step instructions.
What's not so great: State Return (MN) isn't as easy to follow as the federal return.

I use Turbo Tax because it is easy to use for subject that is very complicated. I just started using Quicken and I hope that Turbo Tax and Quicken are interfaced so I don't have to input my investment data for 2013.
I would suggest that Turbo Tax "hot link" more of the technically words in the sentences to help information. This way the user doesn't have to do independent investigation into meanings and other help.

What's great about it: The filing was detailed as it should be and also quick.
What's not so great: There was not enough help provided about some to the questions being offered.

Great Return

Overall, I've used it for years and recommend it to friends. I would like to see a checklist of documents needed so I can put them together before I sit down to enter my information. I find myself digging through old files every year.
What's great about it: It explained things simply and made filing a lot easier
What's not so great: it does take some time

for my first time using this program it was so simple to do and follow. even i\went i was not sure. it was sample to go back. I will use this going forward and tell my freind to save money
