I have been using TTax for 10 years plus, great tool, only problem is, if you ask how it computes rates?it takes you a while to figure it out and TTax is correct!!!!!!!!!!
What's great about it: Fast
What's not so great: Only slow down when you question results

THE W2 QUESTIONS AT THE END WERE VERY CONFUSING AS WE HAD NO W2S IN THE RETURN AND WERE RELUCTANT TO ENTER ANY INFO FOR A W2 THAT DID NOT EXIST - CAN'T FIGURE OUT THE PURPOSE OF THE QUESTION.
What's great about it: RELATIVELY PAINLESS ONCE I GOT USED TO THE SOFTWARE - AND THE CHANGES FROM THE PREVIOUS YEAR.
What's not so great: AT THE END WHEN i THOUGHT I WAS ALL FINISHED IT ASKED FOR W2 INFO - I HAVE NO W2 INFO AS WE ARE RETIRED.

TurboTax - No need to look at anything else

I have been using TT for years and it seems to get better every year. No problems using the app, it takes me through everything one step at a time and checks everything when I am finished. Can't ask for more. It even pulls in my info from previous years which makes it easier to do my return. No need looking at any other product.
What's great about it: It works, walks you though everything step by step

I have used Turbo Tax for several years with great satisfaction.. The audit reviews and summaries are terrific. I recommend it to all of my friends and associates . TurboTax is reliable and that is most important.
What's great about it: Very well defined. Easy,quick,reliable

This is my fourth year using Turbo Tax. If only all the other software out there worked this well. Since I didn't need to use an accountant, I'm going to go out and spend what I saved -- on a nice dinner to celebrate a successful filing.

Straight-Forward (as usual)

For the past 15 years I've been using the Deluxe version of TT to file my fed and state returns. I am very pleased with its methodical 'hand-holding' approach to finding every avenue of income, deductions, etc. TT gets the job done quickly and accurately.
Just one issue cropped-up with the TT Dlx 2012 version. Upon completion of my federal 1040 return it indicated that I had a refund due, but did not ask or prompt me if I wanted to apply any portion of that refund to my 2013 tax return ...however there was no such problem with the state return, where it did just that! ...???
What's great about it: Step-by-step Q & A got it done quickly & accurately.
What's not so great: Q & A almost perfect, but not quite.
