I have used TurboTax for several consecutive years and wouldn't use any other method. I have used if for sale of home, business income, investments and found it to be accurate and manageable for the do-it-yourself tax filer.
What's great about it: step-by-step guidance
What's not so great: Very complicated situations require you to do some research; state e-file fee

EASY AS ALWAYS
on February 10, 2013

As always, TT is easy to use. If I had a question I used the search function. I just needed to do math where it asked for totals, TT handled the rest. There were several areas that needed more documentation that TT made me aware of. Almost felt like having a proctor looking over my shoulder. Thanks again TT!
What's great about it: All I had to do was fill in the blanks
What's not so great: Seeing my refund drop as I entered information
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

I do not have an employeer so filling out that form with an employeer ID # did not work for me. It did finally transmit but not sure what will happen with that info. Confusing. I have liked Turbo Tax and have used for many years, but this year was not easy. Not sure what I'll do next year. sorry
What's not so great: Had trouble with donations. Didn't like doing it myself. what happened to easy you decide?

Seemed like a lot of questions , duplicated for self and wife , could have one set of questions with boxes for self and wife to check if applicable.
What's great about it: fast
What's not so great: many questions and no carry over from previous year $$

Everything was fantastic as usual. The only trip up I found this year was the "non-Arizona municipal interest" question. After some research (again, no accountant experience on this end) I found out I had a choice as to which form I could have chosen, regarding the 140 forms. I changed it to the 140 short and that saved the day. It would be helpful if we had a choice in the matter up front, like you guys do on all the other spoon fed questions. I have several friends that use Turbo Tax and they were as ready as ever to file, except for that trip up. You guys have made it so easy to file I guess one little thing can make one think we hit a road block. If that little part can be made a bit more clear for next year, the con portion will be blank. Thanks for a great product. Customer for life!
What's great about it: All questions are asked in a very layman's terms. This is extremely useful to us "non accountant" types.
What's not so great: Got pretty confused on the whole "non-Arizona municipal interest" question.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
