Overall, excellent product. Easy to use, guides you through income and itemized deductions. Software should alert you if you don't qualify for a deduction if your income does not allow.
What's great about it: easy guides

Another year down!

We have been using Turbo Tax since 1993, and it has always helped me get my returns done before April 15th no matter what the out come is (refund or pay). We hope to use it for the next 20 years.
What's great about it: Fast and user friendly, Makes sure I do not forget to enter anything
What's not so great: Nothing but making time to sit and enter info.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So easy. One hour to file both returns. Love the one screen shopping/tax paying experience.

I have been a turbo tax user for the last six years and I can only say that is a best way to file your taxes.
What's great about it: is easy to use
What's not so great: none

No brainer

I like how easy it is to use, go back to review any item at anytime. No happy with asking for extra filing fee at end of process. Probably didn't buy the correct version for free filing.
What's great about it: Easy to continue where you left off
What's not so great: Must buy the right version so I don't have to pay for filing.

TurboTax was very user friendly and took me step-by-step through my taxes. It was very well-organized and I completed my tax returns in about 10 minutes.
What's great about it: fast and efficient
What's not so great: updates a little difficult to confirm

Yea! No Fed Payment in 2012

Last year we had to pay significant amounts to both the Federal Govt and State of NJ. This year, we broke even with the Federal Govt and paid New Jersey a couple hundred $. The process for calculating our tax liability, and filing our returns, is easy to follow. Additionally, I am confident we minimized our liability.
What's great about it: Easy process, included all possibilities
What's not so great: Minimal Refund; Had to Pay State
