OK for simple forms

I've used Turbo Tax for many years. Generally I like it. It's easier than doing everything by hand, and it helps me to not forget things
I've known for a while that it can't handle form 8621, which is annoying but acceptable - I can send it to the IRS separately.
In 2011, I discovered it also doesn't properly handle depletion for oil royalty trusts - I've had to manually enter the amounts directly into the forms, which is a hassle. As several US companies have set up new royalty trusts over the last few years, I would guess a sizeable number of people are impacted by this problem, which is why my rating is not higher.

Helpful for clergy

TurboTax makes the whole process so much easier. And it understands and assists the minister who is something of a different kind of "tax animal."
What's great about it: Recognizes housing allowance, self-employement tax, and related issues for clergy.
What's not so great: No matter how simplified they make it, computer novices appraoch these matters with some trepidation!

Overall very easy to use. We have used Turbo Tax for the last 3 years and love it.
What's great about it: Very easy to use!
What's not so great: I was not reminded about sales tax credit and almost filed my return without it.

i have been using this product well over 12 years and have never ever been disappointed nor have i ever had to rely on customer service getting me out of a jam.
What's great about it: very user friendly. gets better every year
