Nice & Easy

While turbo tax was great this year and made everything easy, it would be great if more examples were given. By examples we mean real life situations that are relatable. The technical tax language can be confusing and practical examples would help.
The free e-file is AMAZING! Makes life so easy and now I have a PDF and printed copy and we are excited to tackle this next year.
Thanks again for taking the anxiety about taxes away!
What's great about it: Very Easy & Fast
What's not so great: More examples needed
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

So Simple.

This was the first time I did my own taxes, and it was a little intimidating going in. The software was quick, easy and informative. It found me a couple of ways to increase my refund I had never even heard of.
What's great about it: Easy to learn & follow.
What's not so great: None.

Wish I Was Getting a Refund

I like the fact that you can download previous year's information. It saves so much time. Using "It's Deductible is also a great convenience when I donate items. It saves me having to find the value of things. Also being able to download my investment reports directly from my bank saves me so much time and effort. Since I am not an accountant nor educated in the area of tax work, it is great to be able to have the program show me what forms I need to use and how to fill them out.
What's great about it: Liked ease of use for most of the items.
What's not so great: Going back to check on items after finished was difficult and time consuming.

This is my third year filing my Income Tax via TurboTax this product is great, very user friendly.
What's great about it: Easy to follow and explanations are helpful.

Have been using Turbo Taz since it was Parsons (I believe). Usability seems to get better each year.
What's great about it: Easy to use. Convienient.
What's not so great: Having to scroll down on pages as they populate with entries each time is somewhat annoying

Great Experience

The issues are what I stated above the Previous and Next need to keep up with where you left off. You go to print your returns then have to step back through all the preview steps again
What's great about it: All good
What's not so great: The previous abd back are combersome - always having to start at the beginning instead of where you left off

Easy Easy this Year

I've used Turbo Tax for at least the last 15 years. Used to have an accountant do it. Then tried by hand, but too cumbersome. Then switched to Turbo Tax. Loved Turbo Tax. Was fast and easy.
Have had many different life events over the years (babies, disability, capital gains, (losses), unemployment, multiple W2's, various investment scenarios,) and always handled well.
THEN, came "improvements" three years ago which I found cumbersome and too restrictive. Took FOREVER and asked a million questions which were not relevant to us. For two or three years I almost gave up on Turbo Tax. But this year it was a piece of cake.
Did not ask 1,000 questions (choose the "expert" mode), Only asked what pertained to me and our family situation, Done in less than an hour, (Fed and State) Feel confident return is correct, Found information from last year during comparison that was helpful. Also found additional information that was helpful in determining IRA contribution this year.
Oh, and played with deduct it this year (even though took standard deduction) and that worked great too! So so easy compared to looking stuff up on ebay like I used to.
The best part is it does the state so quickly.
All is well again with the world. Thanks Turbo Tax!
