Honeymooners Love Turbo Tax!!

In the past, I have used a tax attorney to file my taxes. This year with turbo tax & my new husband, I saved $245!!!! Now that's awesome! We also benefitted from taking the state health insurance deduction, which my attorney missed last year. I never thought I would be able to prepare my taxes on my own. Way to go Turbo Tax!!!!! We're thinking about using Quicken to upload our data into our taxes next year, to make the process even easier.
What's great about it: I like that when you submit something, it knows what questions to ask you about what you just submitted. I

I'm a a right brained creative type so numbers are really not my thing. Turbo Tax actually made doing taxes fun!

Easiest Program Around

I have done my taxes for myself since I began filing taxes. I find Turbo Tax to make that chore so much easier. I enjoy seeing my refund go up as I enter information! The only thing that I find annoying is that I have to go through all the steps when entering income or deductions. I know that this helps to make a thorough return, but I wish there was a way to go past things that I know I will not need to enter any information. I do several friend's taxes for them now that I use Turbo Tax. Thanks for a great product!
What's great about it: Walks you through every possibility for deductions and credits
What's not so great: Can make getting from one topic to the next laborious when going through the program on your own.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I can't begin to tell you how satisfied I am with Turbo Tax. You have created a life long customer! Never again will I make that dreaded trip to the tax preparers office. I wish I had done this years ago! Thank You.

It was more confusing filing jointly due to sometimes the prompts asked for one persons name & other times it didn't. Sometimes I was not sure if I was putting the required info in correctly, that was frustrating! But there was always customer support ready in a short time to help! :)
What's great about it: On-line & customer support were great when I had questions.
What's not so great: When married filing jointly it was confusing if the info was to be added jointly or not!
