I have been using Turbo Tax for at least 10 yrs and have found it to be so user friendly. I have recccomended to several people who were nervous about doing their own taxes but they have all came back and thanked me.
What's great about it: able to go through all possibe tax deductions
What's not so great: no cons

THE PROGRAM WORKS GOOD

WHILE I LIKE THE PROGRAM THIS IS THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW THAT WHEN I WENT TO DO MY STATE RETURN (KY) IT WOULD NOT LET ME DO IT WITHOUT PAYING.
LAST YEAR TURBOTAX REFUNDED MY MONEY AND I THINK THEY WILL THIS YEAR BUT IT BUGS ME.

State return was a hassle

This is the first year I had problems with Turbo Tax. I was caught in an endless loop when trying to download and launch my state tax return. It kept downloading successfully but would not start my state tax return. When I consulted the Turbo Tax community, it looks like many users encountered the same problem.
What's great about it: Federal return worked well
What's not so great: Software for state returns was defective

I love Turbo Tax

I love Turbo Tax I have been using it for years. It's easy too do your own taxes, step-by-step instructions, error review is a great tool. I don't have to worry about making any mistakes. It's cost efficient. Tax prepairers charge way to much money. If you have a simple tax return go with Turbotax. I highly recommend it.
What's great about it: Quick, easy step- by -step instructions, cost efficient

After doing my Federal return, I tried to do my state. The state would not come up, until I exited the program and restarted. A program glitch, that should be corrected. I have been using Turbo for many years. First time a glitch showed up. Otherwise an easy program to follow.
