Made taxes almost painless

Love turbo tax, even though it is on high side for cost. Guides you and makes taxes fairly painless
What's great about it: saves time, stores info from previous year, asks all the right questions

Great Program as love the forms option

Have used for over 10 years. Want option to go to forms directly and have not found another program offering this option.

No other way than TurboTax

TurboTax has made tax filing a lot more easy for at least six years. I especially like that it pulls the necessary information from the previous year and compares your current entries to it. That gives me confidence that I didn't forget something. The help topics provide concise information so you can quickly make a decision whether a section applies to you or not. It really saves a lot of time over reading the IRS tax instructions and trying to decipher them. And since it take the information from your federal return into the state portion, I was done with the state in about 5 minutes or less, easily. I highly recommend it for anyone who hasn't tried it.
What's great about it: leads you through when you don't know, compares to previous year as a sanity check
What's not so great: doesn't seem to pick up where you left off when you come back into it

I've been using TurboTax for many years. I love how it imports info from previous year. And the 'It's Deductible" portion makes it easy to keep track of what we donate thoughout the year.
What's great about it: easy to navigate

Stop fighting simple taxes

If simpler tax laws were enacted, and our "representatives" stopped voting them down because of pressure from companies like Intuit, we would be able to file cheaper and easier without filling your coffers.
What's great about it: Current tax code requires use of something to make filing taxes easier TurboTax does it well.
What's not so great: Tax software should only be needed by large companies, not average citizens.
