Would like to see tax table. Had 4,000 more taxable income this year vs last year and paid $684 more this year than last year.
What's great about it: Excellent Calculations
What's not so great: Some screens appear w/o any explanation as to what to do with them.

Turbotax gets it

Turbotax is one software that makes it easy to file for all. You have the option to choose your own deductions or the software can guide you through it. The process has been simplified with checks at every step to make sure nothing is missed. I downloaded the electronic form of turboax and was done with filing in less than 1 hr. No pen and paper and no printing and mailing. They will do it all for you. Everything was fast, easy and thorough at the same time.
What's great about it: smooth, fast and thorough

I have been using Turbo Tax for many years and it continues to simplify my filing process. I especially like the way I can keep an electronic copy of my returns now.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax walks you right throughthe process
What's not so great: takes a while to update file, but I understand the tax laws continue to change.
Pros: I bought or sold investments

Would lika a "cheat sheet" rinted out at the end, to improve my record organizing for next year.
What's great about it: completeness and process to review and update
What's not so great: not sure whether it does automatic saves, just in case.

Easy to use

I have used Turbo Tax for several years and am very satisfied with the product. I sometimes worry that I am not understanding a question correctly and possibly answering the question incorrectly. For example, the explanations about the different educational credits I find confusing. I think the state tax program has even fewer explanations. Overall, I am pleased with Turbo Tax and will likely continue to use it for future taxes.
What's great about it: Federal Tax return is great, it's easy to navigate through the return process.
What's not so great: I always find the state tax return to be more confusing. There are fewer explanations of what the question is asking.

Its the best

I have been using TurboTax for almost 25 years. One time I strayed and tried TaxCut. The next year I went through the pain of inserting all the data TurboTax saves from year to year.
Between bringing forward all of last year's information and importing data from my brokerage accounts and W2s, the preparation is more than half done. I have a few unusual items for income and there is a question and form for every one.
Every year I am amazed as to how fast my pile of paper creates a finished document.

2012 Turbo Tax Review

My one and only "con" this year was that I had a difficult time getting to the Home office deduction segment of the program. I had to repeatedly go to the help section to locate this (not catastophic, but an extra step nonetheless)
You guys have a great product - keep up the good work.
What's great about it: Very Intuitive and relatively easy to follow
What's not so great: only one complaint
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
