Great software...it's all I've ever used. We've even had some semi-complicated tax issues (i.e. having to file in multiple states, adoption, failed adoption, etc) and I trust Turbo Tax to be sure my taxes are filed correctly and I'm getting the maximum refund!

We've used turbo-tax for several years...it is wonderful having them do all the forms, math checks, and filing!
What's great about it: easy to do, step by step, always easy to edit or update too
What's not so great: Can't think of any reason to do taxes any other way...

I have used Turbo Tax for quit a few years and have been mostly comfortable with how it works. Most changes from year to year have been easy enough and a few have really made me search, but you do make the help tips right on point.
I am very grateful for the hard work put into this program!

What's great about it: Transfer of last years info and comparisons.
What's not so great: I had to go to forms to enter info as the questions weren't clear or absent for some things.

Search engine could improve to direct to specific items in not specifically in the topic list, such as ira "contribution" .
The program does not do a good job distinguishing stock options when downloading from quicken.
What's great about it: Program is quite complete
What's not so great: Difficulty in locating entry of IRA contribution location through search engine.

I'll stick with turbotax

I have used TTax for more than 10 years. tried other (cheaper) software a few years ago, but came back. I have investments and mutual funds- Ttax imports my data and greatly simplifies my filing process. I couldn't do it by hand anymore. Ttax has changed over the years- they are paying attention to problems/ complaints, and improving.
What's great about it: simplifies complex tax situations, investments, deductions and keeps track of prior years info and cost basis
What's not so great: occasinally oversimplifies, and I have to double check to ensure it is right
