Best for me!

Easy to use and accurate, I had no software errors with this year's product. Forms were accurate, and suited my needs perfectly this year. RE: importing from financial instituitions -- not all of my were available, and some either didn't import at all or imported data incompletely or in the wrong address fields. Final Review caught all of these, so they were easy to correct
What's great about it: Easy to use and accurate
What's not so great: only problems were related to importing
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Good Product

I've used Turbo Tax for years now, after tax preparation service preparers started charging hundreds to do my return, while only reading from a computer program like Turbo Tax.
Turbo Tax Deluxe offers just the right amount of help.
My only complaint is on the line for the 50% Meals deduction under business expenses. Unclear if I should have put my total expenses for MI&E, and the software would calculate the 50%, or if I was supposed to put the actual expenses that I could claim.
I like everything else about Turbo Tax.
Keep up the good work.

What's great about it: FAST AN EASY
What's not so great: COST IS UP THERE AN THEN WE PAY TO FILE STILL.

Quick and easy filing

The first two reviews gave me zero errors and a federal refund but after entered final efile to Hve amount refunded to my bank account when it found one error so instead of getting $423 back, I now owe $1516 :-(
What's great about it: User friendly
What's not so great: Upset I couldn't deduct mileage to take enployer, to/from his medical appointments and giet his meds or ADT cost.

Tax Return 2012

The program should take into consideration states that don't have a state income tax so that it doesn't have you buying a nonexistant state program or filing a state tax return that you don't have. There appears to be a glitch where I didn't have any education expenses but it included a student loan interest deduction worksheet in my return that I wasn't able to remove.

Qualified School?

It was easy to use, but I had to look up some definitions of things in the SI state return. I had to find out what a "qualified" post secendary school meant. It would have been helpful to have Turbo Tax have that definition.

Great product

Much easyer to use than some of the older versions. The update are now quite painless. The step by step made doing taxes a pleasure, if doing taxes could be called pleasure. Contacting Turbotax experts was also speedy and solved any questions I had.
