I thought I was gonna pay

I made more thos year so I was prepared to pay, but I got a refund instead. Turbo tax forever in my case!

Thorough Job of my Taxes

Overall, Turbo Tax does a great job. I have been using it for about ten years now. There have been some challenges at times but overall it does a very thorough job of entering everything from income to expenses. For the last three years, we have had a lot of medical expenses & this is very helpful with calculating itemized vs standard deductions. It would be impossible for people like me to keep up with all of the tax changes from year to year. I could not do my income taxes without this wonderful software. Thanks for a great product!
What's great about it: I like that it goes step by step in each category so that you don't miss anything.
What's not so great: I had major problems with the Schedule E information being accepted just as it appeared on 1099 Misc.

Got it done again!

TurboTax has done a good job of simplifying a very complicated federal tax code and process. I like how it does the calculations for you, fills in the forms and checks for errors. The transfer of information from federal to state is slick.

Saved me money BIG TIME

If you can read and follow simple instructions you too could save your money on tax preparations for use where you need it, like putting gas in your car for a family fun outing.

Saved Time

This is my second year in filing with TurboTax. It saved me a lot of time in preparing the documents, in going through the IRS and state documentation and in getting it sent out. I liked the fact that I finished my taxes in 1/3 the time in previous years when I did it by hand and I will receive my refunds in less than 1/3 the time I did in those years as well. The only drawback (if it is one) is that I did not know what information I needed before I sat down to prepare my taxes. If TurboTax has such a tool, I'd like to know about it. (I would probably even pay something for it, too.)
What's great about it: This was fast and enabled me to get my refunds in less than 1/3 the time.
What's not so great: It's not clear what information I needed beforehand.

Convenience is the name of the game!

This is the second year I've used Turbo Tax and now I encourage my close friends to try it, as it is not as daunting as it seems! I'm hooked, I will continue to purchase Turbo Tax deluxe.
What's great about it: Clear, concise instructions.
What's not so great: Forced to organize documentation throughout the year in order to prepare to file.
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)
