the program would not accept $0 as an entry for the amount of a home sale on a forclosure
What's not so great: 1099-C foreclosure info was ambigious when the sale portion was entered
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

Turbo Tax is user friendly

This is my fourth year using Turbo Tax and I love how easy it makes doing my taxes. I really cannot think of anything to change and I think the fact that I keep coming back and using Turbo Tax is evidence of that. Turbo Tax takes care of all the tedious worksheets for you so you can just plug in what is needed and move right along. I love how user friendly Turbo Tax is and how much quicker I can get my taxes done rather than doing them by hand.
What's great about it: easy to understand, great quide
What's not so great: some confusing words, but not many

It is difficult to review a specific detail in the topic list. You often need to repeat several or even many steps until you can find the detail you need to check or change. You should be able to check on a general topic and the topic list should then open all of the specific items that that section addresses. Then you could open that exact topic you want to review. On the Virginia 'File by Mail' first page of instructions, they forgot to remind me to attach [staple] the W-2 and 1099 forms to the VA760CG first page.
What's great about it: TT keeps all the details from years back
What's not so great: TT doesn't take you back to where you were between forms and step-by-step interview.
