Safe and Secure

I'm a repeat customer and find annual tax filing easier and less error prone by using TurboTax. I have confidence that the software and process has helped me check on any deductions, credits or reporting responsibilities I may have. I like the upload from previous records on my hard drive that "populates" much of the information.
What's great about it: Reliable software with updates regarding income tax laws. Easy, gives me confidence that my tax filing is accurate

2nd year using turbo tax, was able to claim things that were not offered to us by a tax prep accountant
What's great about it: Specific steps to explain what you are filing
What's not so great: extra cost to email state returns

Overall good.

Excellent way to file!

I have used Turbo Tax for the last four years. It is simple to use and I feel I get as much help and find as many deductions as I would if I I went to a 'professional tax preparer'.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax goes through all the tax codes and makes it easy for you to understand.
What's not so great: None at this time

Great experience, very quick to get through all questions. Simple guided approach gets you in and out as quick as possible. Simplifies doing your own taxes.

Turbo Tax

I have been using Turbo Tax now for over 13 years. I like that it imports data from all sorts of different banks as well as different software. I personally don't and enter everything myself, but still like that it imports all my data from my last year's Turbo tax. Its like a double check! did I remember to enter in all the charities usually give to, plus when donating "goods" I don't have to think what they're worth, Turbo Tax tells you the value of the goods based on if you think they are "Excellent" or "average".
What's great about it: Easy to use

Good for complex return

TurboTax worked great for my complex return.
What's great about it: Handled complicated K-1
What's not so great: Some error fixes weren't clear
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments
