Quick and easy way to do my taxes on my own.

There was nothing that I did not like about Turbo Tax. It was very easy to use especially the step by step instructions. I have been using Turbo Tax to do my taxes for the last 6 years.
What's great about it: So simple and easy anyone could use software
What's not so great: Sometimes had to wait a bit for updates to be installed

I use Turbo Tax every year because of the simple, but detailed help it gives me. It is very helpful by determining which deduction is best to use. I plan to use it next year also.
What's great about it: detailed, but simple instructions on each step

Complicated filing, but Turbo makes it easy

Overall, very helpful tax preparation product. It's better than relying on a tax professional, who doesn't necessarily explain what's happening. If you don't understand the basics of tax laws, you don't know what to gather and enter in the first place. The whole process of tax filing is cumbersome and an affront to everybody who earns money, but if you have to do it, Turbo is the way to go
What's great about it: Easy to input the data
What's not so great: Too much repetition when you go back to correct an entry

Overall an excellent program that keeps getting better. Love the idea of electronic payment along with the electronic filing.
What's great about it: Very easy to use. Guided format easier and better every year.
What's not so great: Some info for state K1s needed to be re-entered twice. Didn't transfer over from federal forms

Almost as good as last year

Process was easy until I tried to get my refund on the VISA that the program said I could, the way i did last year. It took 20 minutes to figure out that that option is only available with the online version. That is stupid. The option should not even be mentioned in the desktop version!
What's not so great: No access to a visa for my return

Had to file as surviving spouse

My return was difficult this year as my spouse passed away last year and I was filing as a surviving spouse. This created extra work with all the information. Turbo Tax was wonderful and made the experience easier than I thought it would be.
What's great about it: Liked the easynest of the whole proceedure
What's not so great: Didn't have any cons

I've used TurboTax since 2008 and I foresee using it in the future. The system is relatively easy and complete for most filers.
What's great about it: Very comprehensive tax system

Still wanted schedule C vehicle info even tho I did not use schedule c
What's great about it: relatively painless as taxes go. Schedule C was always a real pain
What's not so great: Did not offer to show my decductions before choosing standard
