2011 return was lost due to computer crash & I was not succesful in importing it. Had to start from scratch.
What's great about it: Complete coverage, Accurate Math, Ability to make changes
What's not so great: Had some trouble printing

Relieved!

I bought TurboTax in an effort to save money instead of paying an accountant. I kept putting off the fact that I needed to start working on it because I was afraid I made a huge mistake to try it myself. I waited until 2 weeks before the deadline and finally decided I HAD to do it. Well, it was a very painless experience! I understood all of the intructions and it was so easy! I can't believe I've been paying an accountant all these years to do what TurboTax and I could do together. I am so relieved it's done and it was easy! Thank you, TurboTax!
What's great about it: Easy, easy, easy!
What's not so great: None!

Thank you for making doing taxes much less stressful by knowing what questions we need to answer and what information we need to give as well as what we don't!
What's great about it: A simple and straightforward way of doing my taxes
What's not so great: The transfer pulled over foreign income forms from the year before and it took awhile to figure out how to delete it.

Wonderful product

I've used TurboTax for years -- virtually since it came out. One year I decided to try a competing product by a major tax preparation service but was disappointed and came right back to TurboTax the following year.
It's a great program: easy to use whether you're a novice or an old hat. I've used it in years when I've run my own business and had several types of forms to fill out and years when I only had W2 wages and found it equally helpful at all times.
The only thing I wish they'd change is offering "It's Deductible" for the year ahead so one could keep track of donations throughout the year, then import them automatically when preparing taxes.
All things being equal, I will certainly continue to use -- and recommend -- TurboTax!
What's great about it: Easy to use for novices or seasoned vets; walks you through the process and prompts you with questions
What's not so great: None that I can find!

NOT SURE ABOUT PROGRAM

LAST YEAR AND THIS YEAR PROGRAM HANGS UP ON CALCULATIONS AND HAVE TO RECOVER AND RESTART. HOW ABOUT NEXT YEAR YOU FIX THIS PROBLEM. IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY TO BUY THE PROGRAM IF THIS CANNOT BE FIXED. I WILL DEFINITELY RETURN PROGRAM IF THIS CONTINUES NEXT YEAR.
