I have been using Turbo Tax for years. I feel like "they" ask me about the deductions I might miss, and do the number crunching so I don't have to.
What's great about it: If you are halfway disciplined and have your forms in one place this is a piece of cake.
What's not so great: husband dumped last year's return... back it up electronically if you don't want to reenter all your info.

I have used turbotax for many years now and the screens to walk thru the process are very good.

Lived up to the hype!

I have used Turbo Tax for the past four years, and I love it! It is very user friendly, and seems to be very thorough, and very accurate. I like the fact that in the deduction area it had ten different sections, and led you through each one of them. It gives you ideas and opportunities. that you don't realize that you have. I like the fact that at the end it goes through everything that you did, and reviews it for accuracy. I also like the feature of audit defense. All in all, you've produced a very useful product.
What's great about it: User friendly. Very accurate!
What's not so great: Nothing

Had to pay...bummer

Had to pay but I know why and its not TurboTaxes fault...cashed in an IRA and didn't take enough taxes out. I've used them for over 10 years and the program is great!
Please lower the price - thanks

First Time Solo Tax Prepare

Overall this was very easy to use. Since it was my first time preparing my own taxes it took awhile. However, my mom assures me that next year won't take as long because most of my information will transfer over. I feel like they did a thorough job of exploring all my options for deductions and helped me find a few that I didn't even know I qualified for. I will be using Turbo Tax again next year!
What's great about it: Ease of use, detailed descriptions for more information, cost
