I've been using Turbo Tax for several years now and have not been disappointed. The easy guide makes it very easy to through the step by step questions insuring you the best possible tax refund.

I use turbo tax every year that i knew of it. It not only saves me money but gets my refund quicker than the other guys. I dont have to be exactly on top of all the new tax laws because there explained as you go.Turbo Tax will always be on my list for doing taxes till the end of time. Joel C

Always Good

Really good overall, this is the first year I encountered a major bug in the system. Spent about an hour waiting to chat with someone, spent about an hour with them. Wish there was an easier way to get help and wish there wasn't that bug this year. I will still buy again next year.
What's great about it: Easy to Use, helpful on line help
What's not so great: There was a big bug this year in the 1099-DIV that was a pain

Turbo Tax Mostly Good

Turbo Tax has made tax prep far less time consuming. In the past I did my taxes with paper, pencil,and a calculator. It also allowes me to take advantage of tax deductions I did not know how to calculate. Such as deducting non-cash donations with ITS DEDUCTABLE feature.
Last 2 years program errors have delayed filing. This year it was an entry that appeared in the estates schedule. An EIN appeared there that was not anything on my entries. The good news was some one in the community explained how to delete the errant EIN.
The 2011 program insisted that I had to pay tax on a direct roll-over. Some one in the community explained how to overcome this problem.
My 2010 state tax transfer was incomplete, and I did not examine it carefully enough. I had to pay tax and penalty.
What's great about it: It is quick and easy to file federal and state tax
What's not so great: Glitches in the program have created delay in filing.

So Easy!

Have used Turbo Tax every year since 2009 and will continue to do so. Inexpensive, easy to use and am happy with the refund amounts. Thanks Turbo Tax!!
What's great about it: easy to follow steps
What's not so great: wish I could enter the tax id of my charities and not have to look up the address

Not as good as previous years

I am somewhat disappointed in Intuit's offering of TurboTax this year. The interface seemed clunky. There were times I selected the "back" button and instead of taking me back to the previous back, it would go back to the beginning of the section. Also, in years past it was more intuitive where you needed to click to view the actual forms your were filling out during the interview process.
In the end, I got my taxes filed, but I don't think the software was as smooth as it was in the past.
What's great about it: Easy to file your taxes by yourself

No Refund but No Pay! Hooray

I have used TurboTax numerous times and I love it. It is easy and fast and allows me to file my own taxes and even offers a service if I get audited. It's great! Last year I had a business that I did the taxes for on TurboTax and it was just as great for a business as it was for personal taxes. I closed the business in 2010 so I didn't need that one this hear. THANKS TURBOTAX.
