easy way to do taxes

Painless process, easy and quick

Took much less time to do taxes than expected, particularly because my wife is self employed with lots of items to expense and depreciate. turbo tax did it all very quickly.
What's great about it: Seemed to cover all areas I needed, very clear
What's not so great: Didn't seem to offer opportunity to leave refund with IRS to pay taxes next year. Hard to find that line on form.

Great step-by-step guidance and systematic review of all schedules. Some of the descriptions for eligible deductions were not intuitive and when seeking to probe deeper, the software did not offer an alternative explanation.
What's great about it: Streamline deciphering of the complicated tax code
What's not so great: Some of the behind the scene calculations were not well understood

I think this is a really good program. It really helped me maximize my return when I owned a boarding home and had several jobs. Great stuff and I'd recommend to anyone.

I have us Turbo Tax since, well when it still came on 31/2 in disks. I have always found it simple to do and it provides one with easy to understand explenations when needed. The process seems to get easier each year in spite of the efforts of the government to make the tax code harder to understand!
What's great about it: It's SIMPLICITY, or the option to do it the hard way!
What's not so great: Can't think of any
