I have been a Turbo Tax user for 8 years, the preparation experience is easy as always!
The Guided method asks the right questions and provides the extra details when needed.
What's great about it: This is very easy
What's not so great: none
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I trust turbo tax it always gets me the max refund

About 5 years ago I started using Turbo Tax and I haven't looked back since! I fell in love with Turbo Tax software because of how helpful it is when I have a question. Also I love the extra's that come with turbo tax like error checking, audit protection, and audit risk analysis! There is no better software in my opinion out there for consumers to use while they are during their taxes and I trust that turbo tax also maximizes my refund with over 350 deductions they go over. I have been given a FREE COPY of an competitors premium tax software at my work place last year, and I ended up actually still buying turbo tax to do my taxes. Last but not least I cannot forget to mention that I love the feature of being able to import last years tax information because it is really useful in many ways especially with pre-filling out a lot of information needed this year using last years tax return. Since I didn't move since last year all my information was the same and it also auto-fills my last years AGI which makes sure my return will be accepted. Turbo Tax is the best!
What's great about it: Simplistic, accurate, updated, helpful, imports last years tax information & easy to use
What's not so great: More expensive then other tax softwares, but its worth it

Very Satsified

My wife and I are retired and have only small part-time income. Our taxes are pretty simple but we still need to itemize taxes. Turbotax is very easy to use and provides the tools to help us through the process of collecting and recording the required information.
We had to amend our 2011 taxes and there was some difficulty in starting. Through the use of the Community information we were able to submit. It appears the 2012 provides clearer direction, hopefully we will not have to file an amended form again for 2012.
What's great about it: Easy to use, remembers information from last year.
What's not so great: Some confusion if a return needs to be amended.

It would also have been helpful to know that automatic downloads would not occur without ejecting my disk

Great experience with Turbo Tax again this year -- it is a great product (new addition to the family, and Turbo Tax walked us through all the new things that go with that). Totally worth the money and it saves time and keeps things organized in electronic and paper formats. I enjoyed using the community help features and found good information. I highly recommend using the product!
What's great about it: Straight forward
What's not so great: Hard to remember account log in info over a year
Pros: I had a baby
