Timesaving and Thorough

You can either be completely organized and that's great, but if you have more to do in your life than file taxes, you get TurboTax. They ask you all the questions related to your income taxes--you don't have to remember every detail and get every piece of paper and copy of every form from Ought 6 whether you need it or not.
TurboTax gets you the deductions you are entitled to and, in straightforward, layman's language, explains each item and how it relates to you and your family. They also make you aware of deductions you may not have thought you were entitled to.
TurboTax--it's what your CPA uses...
What's great about it: Software, Ease of Use, Completeness, Accuracy
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion)

I have used turbo tax for many years now, and have been happy with the experience, however as my income goes down and my expenses go up i find that the cost and fees around every corner to pay my taxes is getting to costly. I will be finding a cheaper way to file in the future.
What's great about it: good soft ware
What's not so great: nickle and dime the customer

I just moved to a state that has income taxes and had no idea how the state return worked. TurboTax stepped me through it without a problem. All done!

Taxes Done Right.....with Ease !!

At 75 years old, It gives me a great personal satisfaction to be able to do my own taxes...and knowing that once I enter the figures requested, all of the tax law requirements are complied with and the calculations are correct. I use the Easy Step Interviews, which walks me through in the best time saving manner, using questions and directions that are laid out so that I can understand them. If I find that I need to return to a previous interview, I can do it with ease and without affecting what I have entered up to that point. If I don't quite understand a question or phrase, I merely press "Explain This" and I immediately get an easy to understand document that covers it in detail. The E-File capability adds the 'icing on the cake'. I have memories of when I had to print, sign, stamp and wait in line at the mail box to get my taxes sent, to say nothing of the easy pay options that are available. I certainly wouldn't want to go back to the way things were. Thanks to TurboTax, I don't have to !!
What's great about it: The EasyStep Interview feature.
What's not so great: Sorry, I can't think of anything I didn't like.
