Fast and Easy

As a Turbo-Tax user for many years, I can say that the program just gets better and better every year. I really like the option to be led step by step or go on my own. I have done both and the results were excellent either way. Keep up the good work!
What's great about it: Step by step instructions
What's not so great: Nothing!

Nicely transfers the previous year and is well laid out.

For example, when the question asked if I wanted to print form for filing, I did not know if I would have the option to print for my own records.
What's great about it: Easy to work with, asks lots of questions.
What's not so great: Some times you are asked questions and not sure which answers to choose because you do not know the consequences.

Turbo Tax SIX year Review

I've used Turbo Tax since 2007
It has saved me lots of MONEY; TIME and HEADACHES
It is much cheaper then using a tax accountant!
Probably more accurate; and it can all be done in the
comforts of my own home!

I've had some difficult tax forms/items and Turbo Tax had no issues with those tax years.
Good job Turbo Tax!
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: None
Pros: My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Taming Tax Turmoil

Question format improves each year making this product very user friendly. The Deluxe version handles complex issues such as estimated taxes, rental property income, and mineral leases very well AND transitions to state filing effortlessly.
one addition would be nice: option to print a personal duplicate copy when printing for filing.

TurboTax has slipped a bit

Having used TurboTax for many years, I found this year's edition somewhat harder to work with. Finding a CSA-1099-R was not possible so all information had to be entered as a plain 1099-R which gave rise to needless questions about RMD's which did not apply. Some 1099-R information was mischaracterized as "Wages" which was not correct although it did not affect the bottom line. Navigation seemed more difficult. The interview format continues to be very helpful. The error correction process worked well after I had made an EIN transcription error and my state and federal returns were rejected. Overall, I am satisfied but not quite as enthusiastic as in prior years.
What's great about it: Interview format helpful. Error correction effective
What's not so great: Format less clear than in prior years.

Easy as pie

I spend most of the year thinking about taxes and the looming April date. I prepare by collecting all receipts and expenses and compute each catagory, usually by longhand. This takes about three evenings. So, I sit down with TurboTax and all my information and go to work. All the way through, TurboTax just make things make sense. I enjoy the format and the helpful hints. Keep up the good work.
What's great about it: Easy walk throughs of all sections
What's not so great: Some accounting terms that were unfamiliar

Getting better every year

What's great about it: Easy to use and helpful in identifying deductions
What's not so great: Navigation takes a little getting used to but after that it is nice.
