Terrible MultiState

First time I've ever had so much trouble with a state return. It didn't transfer data correctly from Fed to MA. It wouldn't start the Easy Step process for part year MA resident, it incorrectly calculated the part year resident tax on long term gain, etc, and I had to manually check the state forms and then manually calculate and enter my taxes on much of the MA form. I plan to get my money back on MA.
The Fed and Ohio forms worked just fine.
What's great about it: Fed easy, 1st state (OH) ok
What's not so great: 2nd state (MA) a disaster
Pros: I moved, My job status changed this year (switched jobs, lost a job, got a raise or promotion), I bought or sold investments

Too Much Extra Work

MY taxes are very simply. I could have done my taxes manually using forms and intstructions from the IRS website in small fraction of the time it takes to answer all of TurboTax's questions. Turbotax should find a way to be more intuitive.

Also like it loads info from year to year.
What's great about it: Turbotax does all my figuring, just load in the numbers and it makes all necessary calculations.
What's not so great: Figures my estimated tax for next year without asking if income will be the same.

Turbo Tax Experience

The program was easy to use. Our questions were quickly answered on the community page. The explanations of each section were clearly written and easy to understand. The only trouble I had was signing in my account to pay to e-file our state return.
What's great about it: Easy to Use; Clear Explanations of Each Section
What's not so great: Difficult to sign in account at the end of the process

Turbo Tax since 2008 and happy

I really like the donation calculator. However the only thing that is problematic is that some charities do not have their address on their receipt so no matter how how detail your personal records are it is difficult to be totally accurate is this area.
What's great about it: Turbo Tax guided me through a complex process with ease
What's not so great: I cannot think of any negatives
